How do I convince my mom to let me stay home alone? | ??????????? ...

My mom is going out of town for 5 days and since I just started, I don?t want to miss school and get behind. I?m 13, and super responsible, but when I asked her if I could stay home, she just said I couldn?t just because I couldn?t. Please Help me! I need to get her to say yes because I don?t want to be doing a bunch of make- up work in the 3rd week of school! Thanks!
